Additional tickets and one million FFP miles up for grabs

Seçtiklerimiz

As part of a campaign to promote the addition of three airlines to its Upgrade Awards product, Star Alliance recently launched an online interactive quiz on its website for the members of any of the Alliance’s Frequent Flyer Programmes (FFP). For those who have not yet participated, time is running out, as the promotion ends in on February 15th, 2011, so go to www.staralliance.com to see the quiz and take part.

The aim of the quiz is to ‘upgrade’ a virtual traveller by correctly answering five questions about the Star Alliance Network. A successful upgrade enters the participant into the draw, which features two Business Class Round-the-World tickets as the top prize. Further prizes are one pair of Business Class return tickets*, three single Economy Class return tickets* and the chance to top up your individual mileage account with your share of the one million miles (or equivalent points) which the individual member carrier FFPs are together contributing to this promotion.

In addition to the quiz, Star Alliance is also running a marketing communications campaign promoting its Upgrade Awards product and other Alliance customer benefits. The campaign features international racing car driver and Star Alliance Gold Status holder Takuma Sato. The member carrier inflight magazines are running the advertisement, with the video being screened as part of their inflight entertainment programmes. Both visuals can also be viewed at www.staralliance.com or at www.facebook.com/staralliance.

Star Alliance, “the way the Earth connects”, is the first global airline alliance to offer a multi-carrier upgrade product, which is now available to the FFP members of Air China (PhoenixMiles®), Air Canada (Aeroplan®), Air New Zealand (Airpoints®), ANA (ANA Mileage Club®), Asiana Airlines (Asiana Club®), Austrian (Miles & More®), Brussels Airlines (Miles & More®), Continental (OnePass), LOT Polish Airlines (Miles & More®), Lufthansa (Miles & More®), SAS (EuroBonus®), Singapore Airlines (KrisFlyer®), SWISS (Miles & More®), TAM (Fidelidade), TAP Portugal (Victoria®), THAI (Royal Orchid Plus®), Turkish Airlines (Miles & Smiles®), United (Mileage Plus®) and US Airways (Dividend Miles®).
Since its inception in 1997, emphasis has been placed by the Star Alliance Network on adding value to each member carrier’s FFP by offering Alliance-wide benefits to customers. For instance, Star Alliance was the first airline alliance to offer harmonised benefits for both Gold and Silver Card holders across the network. Moreover, Star Alliance is currently the only alliance where frequent flyers can book award tickets on all Star Alliance carriers by contacting the FFP they are registered with.
Note: For full terms and conditions for the promotion see www.staralliance.com/en/about/campaigns/

        * Return tickets may be used on any Star Alliance member carrier.
