Brussels Airlines has unveiled its new uniforms designed by Gabrielle Szwarcenberg from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, emphasizing Belgian identity.
The collection, inspired by 1960s airline fashion, features dark navy blue with champagne-colored details. The inclusive design process involved frontline employees’ input, and the uniforms prioritize comfort for all body types. Sustainable materials, including cactus and grape-based leather, were used, aligning with Brussels Airlines’ commitment to environmental responsibility.
The new guidelines promote inclusivity, with unisex pieces, relaxed grooming policies, and optional makeup for all.
The uniforms will be introduced on March 1 for over 2,600 employees in cabin, cockpit, and ground operations.
